Membership is a purchase. Pay once, keep the reports forever, even if you never come back.
Membership+ is a subscription. It bills monthly, and if you cancel, report access goes with it: you drop back to the free preview unless you also bought Membership. It works like a rental with the extras attached.
So if you want to read the reports and keep them, buy Membership. If you want the Constellation and the comparison tools, subscribe. If you buy Membership and later subscribe, canceling Membership+ returns you to Membership. You keep what you bought.
